Sometimes

Sometimes it's good to write a letter, even if you never send it out.

Dear Person,
I miss you. You know how I look for signs and alignments in my life that prove to me I'm on the right path? I found a sign today, actually it was a lack of one. Instead of the planets aligning to show me what I would lose with the loss of you, they showed me what I would gain. I gained freedom. I gained a better kind of love than I could have ever hoped you were possible of: Self-love.
I could say more, but I never kept myself hidden from you; that was all your department. The lies and manipulation are all on you, but the magic and possibilities are things I'm taking full responsibility for.
Sincerely,
Andromeda

Time on my hands since you been away

Evolution is a beautiful thing.
Men used to be the bread winners. The ones that would go out into the world and bring home the bacon for their wives and children.
Now they've learned that they don't have to a do a damn thing at all. "My sugar momma will handle it" they think.
Women are the bread winners now, and they still raise the kids, clean the house, find time to look beautiful, and please their men.

And to top it off: boyfriends act the same way. "My girlfriend will pay for it. Won't ya babe?"
